Admissions & State Requirements

• Acceptance requirements:
  1. Government Issued ID
  2. SSN
  3. Immunizations or Declination

• State exam requirements: No State Exam.

• Minimum age: Must be at least 17 years of age (applicants under the age of 18 require written permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to enroll).

• Radiography: Our program does not fulfill the Registered Dental Assistant requirements. Students must have their employing dentist (NOT externship dentist) sign off on state application to become a Registered Dental Assistant.

• Credentials on completion: “Certificate of Completion”; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Certified through the American Heart Association.

• Background check guidance: After completion of our program students will need a dentist’s approval to submit their application to become a registered dental assistant (RDA). Prospective students with a felony will need to contact the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners (ASBDE) to inquire about eligibility to get their RDA license. If the State Board says no, they should NOT go through our program.
